It is one of the wealthiest small towns in the United States and the best place to live in California. In Woodside there are a lot of parks and the public schools are above average. Favorites include Wunderlich Park, Huddart Park, and Windy Hill Open Space Preserve — all equipped with trails for hiking, biking, or horseback riding. Another great option is El Corte de Madera Creek Trail and the historic Filoli House and Garden, a beautiful 654-acre estate open to the public year-round.
